Iranian drones operated by Russians against Ukraine soon to become a reality
The number of cargo flights from Iran to Russia has soared since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, according to an analysis of visible flight data. Since April of this year, at least 42 flights of Iranian companies connected to the Revolutionary Guard have landed in Moscow, compared to only three in the whole of 2021.
An official in the American administration told "Haaretz" this week that the Russians have already started practicing the operation of drones in Iran.
According to an analysis conducted by the Dutch aviation researcher Harion, three Iranian cargo planes have been operating an air train on the Tehran-Moscow route in recent months: two Jumbo 747s of the companies "Kashm Fars Air" and "Iran Air Cargo" and an Ilyushin-76 of the company "Foya Air" .
